Hi Chiranjeet,
Thanks for the movie list…hey what about the movie “Apocalypto”?
Cheers!
Hello Regie,
Yes, “Apolcalypto”, “The Island of Dr. Moreau”, “Holes”, “Castaway”, “Lord of the Flies”, “Dr. Zhivago”…and many more. The list is virtually endless. I know other teachers are probably showing other great, penetrating movies too in class. Would love to have them share. Even “Shrek” has lot of educational value. Have used it in junior grades along with “The Wizard of Oz”, “The Gentle Giant” amongst others.
I bet you have some fantastic choices too, Regie. Please share if you can.
Thanks,
Chiranjeet
